Robert Hendricks, D.D.S.
General Dentist
Dr. Robert Hendricks holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Texas Tech University.
Upon graduating from dental school, he practiced in San Antonio before moving to the Austin area in 2008. Dr. Hendricks is a member of the Texas Dental Association, Capital Area Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Dental Association.
Dr. Hendricks is dedicated to creating a comfortable environment for patients, offering the latest technology in high-quality dental care. Committed to ongoing education, he regularly attends advanced courses to enhance his skills.
Outside the office, Dr. Hendricks enjoys live music, exercise, and quality time with his wife, three daughters, and pets.
Balram Kadaikal, D.M.D.
General Dentist
Dr. Balram Kadaikal graduated dental school first from India following which he attended dental school once again in Boston University. Upon graduation he took a year off to pursue TMJ research at the University of Texas, at the Southwestern campus. His entry into clinical dentistry was in 2022. His interests in the dental field surround Oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry. Apart from dentistry, he enjoys spending time playing his drums, going to concerts and playing sports.
Matthew Largent, M.D., D.D.S.
Oral Surgeon
Dr. Matthew Largent hails from the San Francisco Bay Area where he attended Bellarmine College Preparatory, an all-boys, Jesuit institution. He earned both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington in Seattle. Educational pursuits took Dr. Largent to Texas in 2003, where he pursued a certificate in oral & maxillofacial surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
As a dual degreed oral & maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Largent was conferred his medical doctorate from the University of Texas in 2006. He was attracted to the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery due to the scope of practice and the opportunity to make significant changes in the lives of patients with regards to pathology, function and esthetics. Dr. Largent is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance his skills to better serve the dental care needs of his patients and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience.
In his spare time, he enjoys distance running, college athletics, and music.
Karen
Dental Assistant
Karen has been in the dental field since 2009, and joined the team at Bright Smiles Family Dentistry in 2015. She enjoys doing her part to ensure her patients are satisfied with their experience when visiting the office. In her free time, Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and her two children, usually traveling around the Hill Country where she grew up.
Yessenia
Dental Assistant
Yessenia has been in the dental field since 2014 and joined Bright Smiles in 2017. It is important to Yessenia that patients have a great experience when visiting the office and leave with a smile. When she is not at work she likes to go on hikes and loves to stay active with her dog Storm.
Nancy
Office Manager
Nancy has been with Bright Smiles Family Dentistry since 2013. She has been active in the dental field since 1991. She is originally from Southern California and relocated to Cedar Park in 2006. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and 2 four-legged furry children and finding new things to do and places to eat in Austin.
