Kennon Koenig, DDS

For Dr. Koenig, being able to work directly with patients and treat them just like family is his favorite part of being a dentist. His approach to oral healthcare is built around honesty, transparency, and conservative care options that help smiles stay strong and confident for years to come.

After completing his undergraduate education at UTSA, Dr. Koenig decided to further continue his education and receive his doctorate at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. Following graduation, he completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency where he gained more advanced knowledge and skills to treat his patients.

Ever since he can remember, Dr. Koenig has known he wanted to work in the medical field where he could help others in meaningful ways. He has other family members in healthcare and dentistry, and strives to always do what is best for his patients’ needs. Dr. Koenig has a very calm and relaxed attitude that most patients enjoy and appreciate.

Whenever he has free time, Dr. Koenig’s biggest hobbies include camping, going to the lake, cooking, BBQing on the weekends with friends, and exploring all of the wonderful places Austin has to offer. He also loves spending quality time with his two boxers Baily and Godiva. Another interesting fact about Dr. Koenig is that he has an identical twin brother.
